Mahi Sahoo, Ph.D. was a research scientist at CANMET Materials Technology Laboratory. He has received many awards, including the Gold Medal and also the Scientific Merit Award from the American Foundry Society for contributions to nonferrous casting technology. He is a Fellow of ASM International and CIM. Dr. Sahoo has published more than 250 peer-reviewed papers and numerous book chapters, and has delivered research presentations around the world.

Sudhari "Sam" Sahu, Ph.D. was manager of metallurgy and technical services at Waukesha Foundry. He has received the Scientific Merit Award from the American Foundry Society. Dr. Sahu holds five patents and has published 26 peer-reviewed scientific papers and one book chapter. He has 35 years of production foundry experience.
