This project considers various factors in mechanical loading. Quantitative comparisons between materials for tensile stress and strain, torsional stress, angle of twist, and fracture toughness and bend testing are included. The following material properties are considered: elastic modulus, shear modulus, fracture toughness and flexural strength.
