Using the MRP SystemIn this section, we discuss critical aspects of using the MRP system to ensure that MRP system records are exactly synchronized with physical flows of material.
The MRP Planner The persons most directly involved with the MRP system outputs are planners. They are typically in the production planning, inventory control, and purchasing departments. Planners have the responsibility for making detailed decisions that keep the material moving through the plant.
