INTRODUCTION Use of electricity as a source of heat for furnaces and ovens has been used extensively in industry. Heat produced from electricity is applied for thermal processing of materials in heating equipment such as furnaces, ovens, dryers, boilers, heaters for processes such as heating, drying, curing, melting, and forming to manufacture or transform products.
