Introduction It is an experimental fact that in any ground grid the leakage current during a fault to ground increases from the center toward the periphery. And in any specific grid conductor the leakage current increases from the center toward the ends. In this chapter a method is presented to determine the grid leakage current distribution during a fault to ground and to calculate the surface potential at any given point.
