Chapter 2
Chapter 2 (a) Industrial robot, (b) laboratory robot, (c) explorer robot, (d) hobbyist robot, (e) classroom robot, and (f) entertainment robot. A manipulator is one of the three major parts of a robot—the arm. Base. Three—bending, yawing, and swiveling. Located at the end of the manipulator arm is the gripper, which is used to pick up items. A device mounted on the end of a robot arm. Linear motion, extension motion, rotating motion, and twisting motion. The motions the arm is capable of, that is, turning or twisting, usually specified in degrees.
