Work EnvelopesThe Cartesian coordinate robot has a rectangular-shaped work envelope. This envelope is very important to anyone who works on or near robots. This is the area in which the robot can move. Since the robot cannot see, it is possible for its arm to hit a person or equipment that is left in this area.
