Vision SensorsA robot's ability to "see" an object and make adjustments to fit that object are very important in certain types of manufacturing. Such an ability calls for some sophisticated sensing. The information obtained from a video camera has to be converted into digital signals before it can be processed by the computer—and therein lies the problem.Very intelligent controllers can make real-time adjustments in a robot's program in regard to its positional data.
